I collect clocks and watches
For I can’t seem to keep Time
Clocks all around the house
Each set to slightly different Time
A minute forward here
A couple minutes set back there
So as I wander
Around my home
I have that sense
Of traveling thru Time and Space
Side-note: the clock by my door is always set
4 minutes ahead,
so as I’m leaving
I tend to feel like I’m running late

Before I moved to NH I was told I had a droll sense of humor, so when I moved here I figured I fit right in with NE’s dry humor, but as it turns out my humor tends to be more drool around here
Those are some beautiful timepieces in that top photo. And a strange sense of balance in the chaos in that last photo. Over all, mind-boggling, as is time. Thanks for the challenge.
Thank you, the first photo is of watches that have come my way but only one works. I don’t have a watch to wear, but I did use carry pocket watches,l but like my reading glasses those watches didn’t last that long.
The other photo is of watch parts that I keep working to make a 3D wall hanging or incorporate into a larger piece
… and I immediately think of:
