Just beautiful.
Beautiful. I love the purple stems.
Terrific photo. Really beautiful. I love way it stands out against the blurred background.
A whole universe in even these “little ones.” Nice shot!
Art
Tiny, yes….but it makes a big impression as captured.
Wow, this is such a beautiful pic
Jon, those are stunning shots. A+++ Thank you for sharing and the smile.
Exquisite!
Those are now in my IWIHTT file. (I wish i had taken that.) Most spectacular. I will now go out and try my best to copy you.
And what plant does this lovely little blossom belong to?
Hi, the flower is from a Gibasis Genicula – Blooming White Tahitian Bridal Veil Tradescantia Wandering Jew In most parts of northern Us this would be a house plant for it is zone 9-10 and it is native to Southern Mexico
I have seen several plants called Wandering Jew. Thanks, it is nice shot.
So artistic 😍
🙂 That orchid-colored part of the stem is just extra. The kind of thing that makes one want to say, “Nice job, God!”
So..I meant to ask..your blog name; anti-landscaper..in my mind I see you tearing through town, ripping up shrubbery. What does it mean?
Hi, In answer to your question, I’m a landscaper and I am always struggling with what I consider to be is a manufactured landscape vs a native one. It is a philosophical idea that nature does a better job than was we can with any environment that can support life and it is sort of the undercurrent of my posts and what I try to do as a landscaper
I once wrote a post called Nature Abhors a Garden https://theantilandscaper.org/2013/03/04/nature-abhors-a-garden/ you might check it out and some of my earlier posts when I had more words in me
Reblogged this on Art, animals, and the earth.
I do love the opening photo ~ light bathing a beauty. Never will tire looking at the peace it exudes 🙂
So so beautiful.
