Randomly Saturday – A Tapestry of Thoughts And Memories

“Gautama 2017” A woolen rug designed by Faig Ahmed – Currier Museum of Art

My thoughts and memories

Are woven together in the past

When I pull one thought, one memory

Others, that are woven

Interlocked begin to tug

The more I pull on one, to see it clear

The more it blurs what I try to remember

Pull harder

and it all begins to unravel

So maybe it is best to just add

New thoughts, new memories

And to look at the past as a whole

  1. You thought you’d get us to put our thinking hats on this Saturday. Well, it worked. At our ‘mature’ age, memories are an interesting thing. My husband can remember our first phone number. I’m lucky I remember what I was doing that year. Take care, Jon. Hope we all see each other again this year like in real person. 🙂
