I carry a jar with me
So that I may
When the occasion arises
Collect my good fortune
To save for another day
When I can reach in
I will hope
For more good fortune
Or at least
Hold on to the memory of it

that’s a lot of fortune cookies eaten!
When fortune cookies come each time we have Chinese food, and slips of paper are placed in pant pockets and dropped in the jar, they do add up. Thanks
The deep blue background in filtered light is cool. And I’d love to have a jar of good fortunes…and lucky lottery numbers!
