A true work of art by the best artist any of us know – Mother Nature and her crew of artists. 🙂
It is, and always a great joy to come upon Thanks
Amazing!
I wonder if you put it in your house and the wasps will hatch, and maybe like you just a tiny bit for a second or less, since you are the first thing they will see, but wasps probably don’t imprint. They just are wasps.
Amazing!
After I took this picture I placed it back outside for the added beauty that it might someday live out its’ life and its’ offspring will create another wonder next year
It’s perfect isn’t it
I am always amazed by the art of nature.
thanks for the comment
I am a great admirer of nests and cocoons and all houses made by those insects and birds that proud our gardens.
I agree and I hope you might someday share your discoveries from your part of the world, thanks
Ok….I learned something new today. I see those lovely little nests around and wondered what kind of wasp was making them. I knew it wasn’t a mud dauber but had to be similar. Most of the ones I see are open at the entrance. This one is sealed so the eggs were laid and the paralyzed insect supplied. Super close-up!
This nest was still closed, trimmed the branch by mistake, so I took my pictures and place it back outside. I will wait for spring to see if wasp emerge. Thanks
How unique… and artful.
Nature and all life has a beauty, it is up to us to see, thanks for the comment
You have captured so well how stunning and creative nature is at every turn. It is so easy to overlook the beauty of the little things in favor of grand vistas. Thank you.
I thank you, first I apologize for taking so long to reply. It is all the little things and the beauty they hold and no need to travel far to see them. To you and all beauty that surrounds you
