It part of my everyday
Always to be carried along
But not much thought given
Half filled and frozen at night
Top offed in the morning and ready to go
Something cold or cool in the heat of the day.
It has been dropped, thrown, kicked and rolled
Lost cup, slightly crack lid
Lost a few times, but always found
Thank goodness it not old days
When as a kid my container was glass lined
No matter how careful
When I shook it
There was always sound of cracked glass inside
Hope you had it with you today and it was full of something cold. I gardened all day and thought I’d expire. 🙂
I always carry it with me, for under the sun thirst come quick. Thanks for the comments
Almost like part of the family, I love my thermos too. 🙂
Thanks so true
One of the most welcome and useful inventions a working person ever owned. 🙂
I’ll agree, thanks for the comments
I remember the days of the glass-lined thermos.
When the glass broke, I had no thermos anymore AND I didn’t want to drink what was in it either.
Double disappointment!
Stanley thermos, brings back memories of my Dad and early mornings when I was a kid…great shot!
I too have got a favorite beverage container that I throw around and take with me everywhere. Keeps drinks cool or hot. Love it. Broke one somehow before, so I’m very relieved that the Christmas gift-giver had sent me two of ’em.
