When one thinks of treasure is it the wealth of gold or diamonds?
Or can it be those things that sparks memories of times past.
Or of friends and family that one was lucky enough to have been part of your life.
A almost 40 year old science experiment my two young girls’ did thou today no one knows what the experiment was.
A little wooden fishing boat my mother gave me from a Alaskan cruise she took with a friend later in life, after raising six of us and then going on to nanny a few more.
She was the most selfless person I ever known
Or could it also be the thoughts and images of others that have brought to light a world unknown to me,
but have become part of my life that I also treasure?
The tangible memories of a life well-lived…precious.
It’s these memories that make it tougher on us to get rid of even the simplest things. Thanx for the post.
I just wanted to say thank you for being such a faithful reader on my blog. It means a lot.
My pleasure, I enjoy your poems
Enjoyed your thoughts and the first one especially made me smile. Thank you.
