A running fountain in winter, I enjoyed seeing it, yet I’m was curious why they didn’t shut it down

Great photo – how funky!
I wish I was in there right now!
I don’t think I’ve ever been far enough north in the winter time to see something like that. Pretty cool (pun intended!).
Cool shot !!
Nature’s physics at work here. Love it!
So that’s what a fountain looks like during winter. Yup, that’s curious-lookin’ all right. Cool!
It wouldn’t surprise me if it *had* been shut down and the pipes froze and burst. When it gets that cold it’s not unheard-of, if the pipes aren’t insulated enough. But whether it was accidental or not, it makes a mighty impressive sculpture!
Now that IS curious! It’s almost like a mountain forming from a volcano that is spewing lava. (Except, of course, it’s ice.) I bet it would look really interesting at night if it was illuminated with colored lights.
Thanks sadly I only had one chance to view and now I might have to wait until next to get back there, we will see
