Trying to puzzle out what this is…. looks like badly damaged kitchen tiles close up!
Hi it’s the landscape of Arizona as I flew out -pit mining
Do you know what the small squares are that look like a backgammon board? Is that mining too?

Reblogged this on Haiku for Peace.
Interesting… are those giant backgammon boards?? π
That look like the big open pit copper mine in south Arizona. Very cool! I think the Backgamon board looking things are water treatment centers for the hydraulic mining.
Has the look of some place out of sci-fi movie. Cool shot!
It looks like an aerial view of land, hey, I guess I was right!
Hi theantlandscaper. Intriguing photos. Thank you for liking ‘The Schooner!’ Best Wishes, The Foureyed Poet.
Perfect choice for a wordless post: while it’s not impossible to suss out what it really is, it’s odd and mysterious enough to invite all kinds of stories and interpretations. I always like that approach.
