Amazing how different Cornus fruits can be! C. kousa is my absolute favorite. Kinda tasty, too! Is C. alternifolia edible as well?
Hi Jenny I have been waiting to reply until I had a chance to taste the fruit on the pagoda dogwood, for I had never done it before. Well I have done it and I found no taste, nor much fresh on it ( seed is fairly large), but I did wind up with purple fingers and tongue.
I agree with you about kousa dogwood and I am hoping to do a post on it soon
